mk3 astra 1.8 16v 'n/95 c18xel
There is different part numbers for the C18XEL when air conditioning is fitted so here are the part numbers for a car which is NOT not fitted with air con.
Sump # 90369007
Sump gasket #90467759
Oil level sensor #90228345
Exhaust manifold #9129539
The exhaust manifold is unique to the C18XEL in the astra but is used on varoius engines on other models e.g. Sintra (X22XE), Vectra B (X18XE, C20SEL, X20XEV)

Ok weird one here Nutty. Can you find the part number for the rubber cushion which sits between the Irmscher spoiler and the bootlid. You'd have to use a model that comes with the Irmscher spoiler as standard, don't know of one that does off hand. I bought a spoiler that came without these fittings and would like to fit them to prevent water going down the bolt holes.
There is no rubber under the spoiler as the holes are on the outside edge of the boot lid so any water that does get through will just run away like if it was raining on the car.
I looked anyway and never found anything listed. :)

I bought a set of new rear brake pads off E-Bay for £2.20 they are part number 09 195 685 (also has 16 05 105 GR 05 017 on the box) are these are the correct ones for my 1.8 Elegance Astra G? Seemed to be worth the risk for £2.20 even if they are the wrong ones.

hmm strange one this as they are listed as being the pads for a convertible / coupe / zafira?
But i'm sure they would have the same brake setup as every other astra??
Cheers anyway Nutty, only way I'll tell for sure is when I remove the calipers to paint them, which should be when I fit the lowering springs. Might as well put some Goodridge braided hoses on there at the same time as well I suppose.
Thanks for looking. I'll post a result on them when I find out for sure.

Hi. Pete from PVD is selling Coupe Turbo spec springs & dampers for £50 (see for sale & wanted). He says they will suit any mk4 hatch or coupe. I can see the dampers being OK as an uprated set for a hatch but would the springs suit a 1998 mk4 1.6 16V 3-door hatch?
Cheers.

The shocks and springs will fit fine but you would be better going for springs especially made for the hatch as the ratings will be different for the coupe because it's a heavier car.

Hi Nutty,
Can I ask what the correct part number is for replacing the drivers door handle for one without the lock hole. Mat's put up the price in the Vauxhall part number post but neglected to include the part number. I want a primed one in case there are 2 different numbers as I will be colour coding the handles. Also I presume the handle is the one off the passenger door on a 5 door G? if so shares the same part number. Part number for N/S door handles would help as well.

No. They push on to the pads. In theory you can reuse them, However I've never managed to get a set off without braking them!

Hello,

Also, does this come as seperate parts or as a single unit. (Upon inspection it appears that most of it is rivetted together, suggesting that it comes as a whole unit.)
