take it you mean the one on a mk4 hatch??? theyve been colour coded before yes, but they have a bobbeled texture so they either require alot of flating or not so much flatting and alot of expensive high build primer before you can paint them

that car looks sweet. are they hard to get off and did you sand yours down Ffoeg?

they are easy enough to get off...

Push the centre pin out of the plastic rivet in the rear wheel arch (collect and save the pin), then pull out the rivet.

Underneath there are 7 further plastic rivets - pus the pins out of these and pull out the rivets.

Open the doors

Now garb the lip on the underside of the sill and pull sharply downwards and outwards - you will be met by the sounds of the clips breaking and the sills will come away.

Retrieve the white plastic clip to the rear of the front wheel arch.

I used sand paper and plastic primer filler to get a flat level surface and once you're happy with it, get spraying
