Hybrid project

Well my mate and i have been building a land rover hybrid for the last 8 months, started out as a range rover classic 3.5 v8 3-speed automatic and very yellow. Untill a few of us took a grinder to it one night.

We stripped it to the bare chassis and started the chassis work. We set about cleaning all the dirt and crap off the chassis and polished it up. Removed the uneccaceary parts such as the old out-riggers for the range rover body and the fuel tank. And removed the rear cross memeber. Before we cut the chassis in half we painted the chassis with some anti rust stuff, stuff they use on boats.. We cut the chassis in half and reduced it to 93", cut the chassis where it was going to be joined in a jigsaw shape, had box sections made to fit inside the chassis and seam welded it together, and plated and seam welded the plates.

I will post some more pics up later. when i can be botherd to go through all 200 odd of them llol
